
Kothagudem: Paloncha-based Nava Limited has constructed a vaccine room at the Urban Health Centre at Sekhar Banjar in Paloncha mandal in the district.
The vaccine room, constructed as part of Nava Limited’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, was inaugurated by District Medical and Health Officer Dr Tukaram Rathod. He lauded Nava Limited’s efforts to strengthen government hospitals by constructing a patient waiting hall at the Paloncha Government Hospital and installing a central oxygen system during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sekhar Banjar Urban Health Centre Medical Officer Dr Krishna Kumari stated that she had brought to the attention of Nava Limited’s management the difficulties patients were facing during vaccination sessions. The management responded promptly, constructed the facility within just three months and handed it over to the health centre.
Nava Limited DGM Ch Srikanth outlined the various initiatives undertaken by the company in the fields of healthcare, education and livelihoods. Company Manager (CSR) Ch Srinivasa Rao, civil engineer Phanindrachari, Karunakar and others were present.
