Hyderabad: An unknown person is suspected to have died by suicide near Salar Jung Museum in the city on Wednesday night.
The man, aged around 45 years, was found hanging from a tree on the pavement near Salar Jung Museum by GHMC sweepers, who alerted the police. The Mirchowk police reached the spot and, after preliminary enquiries, shifted the body to Osmania Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination.
A case was registered by the police. Efforts are on to identify the man. The police are checking footage from surveillance cameras installed in the vicinity.
